Sitting between the vineyards of Saint-Chinianais, Faugères and Minervois, this appellation benefits from a microclimate that encourages the vines to flourish. The gentle northwest wind dries the morning dews, ensuring the vines stay healthy. When the sea wind blows from the south, it tempers the Mediterranean heat. Thanks to these factors combined, the 20 villages within this appellation have created wines typical of the area.
